Helping Other people Eat

Matthew 25:35 - For I was  hungry, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in.

The HOPE Pantry was created to meet the physical needs of the community surrounding us. Unfortunately, that need went far beyond our community and we could not overlook how many other families needed our help that was outside our direct community. So we prayed and asked God to open the doors for us to be able to help more people. Our prayers were answered and now we are able to go to the NC Food Bank with donated funds and purchased at a fraction of the regular cost for food to provide for many more families. You do not have to be a member of our congregation, nor do you have to live in wake county to receive food assistance. God wanted us to extend our pantry to whoever needs it. Although, we are only able to purchase the food based on donated funds, those funds change monthly, so we have will have ongoing fundraising to do, which is why it is so important that we ask for donations each week to keep this ministry alive. For all who have donated and continue to donate we thank you in advance.
