The HOPE Pantry was created to meet the physical needs of the community surrounding us. Unfortunately, that need went far beyond our community and we could not overlook how many other families needed our help that was outside our direct community. So we prayed and asked God to open the doors for us to be able to help more people. Our prayers were answered and now we are able to go to the NC Food Bank which has allowed us to expand.
The Reach Program- Johnston County, NC is being sponorsed through KELLOGG.
Susan Hales-Stem who is the founder of the REACH Program developed a much needed program that assist foster teenagers who aged out of the foster care system and are homeless from ages 17-21. We have partnered with the REACH program and are responsible for feeding 25 Foster Kids monthly as long as our funds are available. So far we have reached our goal this month with feeding 25 teenagers and we are also trying to incorporate clothing as it becomes available to us as well. The teenagers that are in the REACH program all reside in Johnston County, NC
